Is renting a high-end sports or luxury car inherently different from renting a standard car?
As far as Luxury Line Auto Rental is concerned, there should be no major difference in terms of your experience. The exception, of course, in in terms of the superior quality of the vehicle and our superb customer service team!
I’m picking the car up in Los Angeles, but my trip concludes somewhere else. Can I drop it off elsewhere?
Yes, you are welcome to return the vehicle elsewhere but additional fees will apply depending on the location. We offer delivery and returns at several points throughout Southern and Northern California, including most of the major airports. We also offer returns in Las Vegas, Nevada and Phoenix, Arizona. Please make sure to contact us to inquire about return pricing.
What do I need to rent a car from Luxury Line Auto Rental?
U.S. and Canada residents will first need a valid, up-to-date driver’s license, credit or debit card, and proof of auto insurance. If you are an international renter we will need a copy of your passport, driver’s license and credit or debit card.
How much is the deposit?
The amounts will vary depending on the vehicle and your auto insurance coverage. Typically, however, the deposit starts at $1,000.00.
Do I have to use a credit card for my security deposit?
We prefer a major credit or debit card as long as it is not a prepaid card. Cash deposits are not allowed.
Do you allow cash payments?
Yes, we allow cash payments for the rental fees but the security deposit must be processed on a major credit or debit card.
How far can I drive?
Our vehicles are allowed anywhere in California, Nevada and Arizona. If you need to drive outside of these three states, please let us know in advance.
Which airports does Luxury Line Auto Rental serve?
Aside from Los Angeles International (LAX), we also provide service to these international airports: Burbank/Bob Hope (BUR), Orange County/John Wayne (SNA), San Diego (SAN), San Francisco (SFO), San Jose (SJC) and Las Vegas McCarren (LAS). We also serve the Los Angeles area municipal and regional airports in Santa Monica, Van Nuys, Long Beach, and Irvine.
Is there a charge for pick-ups and drop offs?
We offer complimentary delivery and returns for LAX airport as long as you arrive within business hours. A $45.00 after-hour valet fee will apply if you need a delivery or return service to LAX airport between the hours of 6:00 p.m. - 10:00 a.m. We also offer complimentary delivery service within a 3 mile radius from our Beverly Hills office. Additional fees apply for delivery and returns to other locations aside from LAX airport.
I have additional luggage that won’t fit in a single car. Do you offer delivery?
Yes we do, but – as we mentioned above -- the delivery fee will depend on the location. Please make sure to contact us in advance.
I would prefer not to have to drive myself. Can I hire a private driver?
Yes, we can definitely arrange a private driver for your convenience, but please contact us in advance to confirm pricing and driver availability.
How old do I need to be to rent a car?
We allow drivers over the age of 21 with their own proof of full coverage auto insurance. Underage fee of $15.95/day applies to renters between the ages of 21-24.
Is auto insurance required?
Yes we do require that you have your own proof of full coverage auto insurance. If you are an international renter, we offer CDW auto coverage. The price for the CDW coverage varies depending on the vehicle.
Do you offer child seats?
Yes, we rent out any type of child seat including infant, toddler and booster seats for $9.95/day. Please make sure to let us know in advance if you need a child seat, since availability is not always a guarantee.
Do your cars have GPS?
Most of our vehicles are fully equipped with navigation systems, but in the event that you need a portable GPS we may be able to provide one for $15.95/day.
